Mr. L.K. Jhunjhunwala is the head of the K.M. Group. The Group was earlier engaged in sugar, but today it has expanded its activities under his leadership in industrial alcohol, power generation, higher technical and management education. Under his guidance, the company has also diversified into byproduct based industries. 
Mr. L.K. Jhunjhunwala is famous for his open and fair thoughts. He has been representing and lauding the problems of Sugar Industry at the various State/ National levels time to time.
Mr. L.K. Jhunjhunwala is also associated with various Industry Association at State & National levels. He is former President of U.P. Sugar Mills Association. He was  President of ASSOCHAM U.P. He is also associated with AIMA, I.I.A Lucknow, C.I.I. and Ph.D. Chamber of Commerce. He was  chairman of FICCI UP State Council.
Established Jhunjhunwala PG College with education in Engineering and Medicine. For Social work he is a member of Rotary International.
He has also been contributing in organization of religious discourses in Ayodhya and other places to keep alive and spread the ancient Indian thoughts and values.
He is also a Member of Uttar Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board. His valuable inputs and suggestions will help them in creating a constructive business environment in Uttar Pradesh.
